ARMS hosts and sanctions many events and experiences which require travel to rural areas in the ACT/NSW region. On these trips the safety of ARMS members is our utmost priority.

Before embarking on an ARMS trip please familiarise yourself with our Safe Driving Policy. Passengers and drivers participating in ARMS-endorsed trips must read and adhere to the policy to ensure the safety of all participants.

In addition to implementing the policy, ARMS is also committed to developing safe drivers in other ways. In 2008 we ran a very successful and fun basic car maintenance course. We have also started planning a "Safe Rural Driving" course. These initiatives are aimed to help all ARMS members be safe on the roads, whether at an ARMS event or not!
